Product Description

Tasting notes

Golden color, clear and bright, the creamy hazelnut nose blends with dried sweet flowers on the palate. A firm oaky vanilla spice blends with a tart backbone that carries the wine through the palate with flavors of apricots and baked apple spice with a consistent and long finish.

Balanced and complex, this wine should age nicely for another 5 or more years.

Food pairing notes

Perfect with light and delicate food such as steamed or grilled fish and chicken.

Vineyard notes

Situated in the most southwest corner of Sonoma County, less than 5 miles from Tomales Bay and just north of the Marin line, this vineyard sits beneath Antonio Mountain. Planted in 1991 by an old dairy family in western Sonoma County, this was an early Sonoma Coast vineyard. It is a very cool climate site that grows stunning Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
